65. Draw A Skull

#2 Pencil, 4/12/16, Water color paper 4 by 6

I chose number 68, to draw a skull because I have a fish tank that is made from a glass skull bottle. I also decided to draw it because it is so challenging. There are so many shadows and highlights happening, that it was very hard to capture the skull as well as the fact that it is glass. Because of the strange shape of the glass, sometimes it is hard for me to even see my fish. I am not very crazy about this sketch because it looks so light, even when I was trying to capture those dark spots. I would like to learn to up my contrast more. I am glad I tried it for my one day sketch though.
